La Bombonera access by your ticket type

Already have your ticket to see Boca Juniors? Find your category below —standing (popular), stand (platea) or box (palco)— and you’ll see the exact street + gate you must use.

Remember that you do not need to show your ID at the stadium entrance (only your match ticket). You just need to carry your ID in case the police request it at the **external** security checkpoints *outside the stadium*.

To improve your experience and reinforce safety, please follow these recommended routes; they’re the ones we use with tourists to avoid areas of heavier local crowd pressure. ✅

General access map for La Bombonera

1) ACCESS TO STANDING SECTIONS (Populares) La Bombonera 🗣️

🔵 South Popular

• Recommended (safest) route: come via Av. Regimiento de Patricios → turn on Suárez → continue to Del Valle Iberlucea and enter there.
• Gates: 4 (South Lower) and 6–7 (South Middle).

🟦 North Popular

• Recommended (safest) route: come via Av. Almirante Brown → turn on Wenceslao Villafañe and follow the signage.
• Gates: 12–14 (North Middle), 11 (North Lower) and 11B–13 (North Upper).

Note: we avoid alternate routes for visitors because some streets have heavier hardcore-fan traffic. Please don’t improvise your approach.

2) Access to LONGSIDE LOWER STANDS (Platea Baja) La Bombonera

• Baja L – Gates 2 and 19. Recommended route: always use the Brandsen & Irala corridor.

3) Access to LONGSIDE MIDDLE STANDS (Platea Media) La Bombonera

• Media A–B–C–D – Gates 1, 3 and 20. Recommended route: Brandsen & Irala.
• Media M – Gates 3 and 5. Recommended route: Brandsen & Irala.

4) Access to LONGSIDE UPPER STANDS (Platea Alta) La Bombonera

• Alta F–G–H–I–J – Gates 1b and 20b. Recommended route: Brandsen & Irala.
• Alta K – Gate 15. Recommended route: Brandsen & Irala (even if it’s a longer walk, it’s the safest option for visitors).
• Alta P – Gate 5 Bis. Access: Suárez & Práctico Póliza.

Important: we have removed the **Aristóbulo del Valle** & Irala approach from our directions for visitor safety. Always use the Brandsen & Irala corridor for all platea (stand) categories.

5) Access to PREFERENTIAL STAND & BOXES (Palcos)

• Preferential Stand · Open/Private Boxes · Pitch-side Boxes · Wheelchair Area – Gates 9, 10, 9B, 10B. Access: Pinzón & Martín Rodríguez.
• North/South Tower Boxes – Same streets and gates as above.

6) VISITING SECTION access

If your match allows away fans and you purchased that section:

• South Upper (Visiting) – Gate 6 Bis. Access: Pedro de Mendoza & Palos.

Quick questions (match day at Boca Jrs)

• Can I enter through another gate? No. Security will redirect you to the gate printed on your ticket.
• When should I arrive? We reccomend to enter the stadium at least 60 min early; for special games like Copa Libertadores games or the Superclásico vs. River we advise to enter the stadium at least 90-120 min before the kick-off.
• Which ID do I need? An original ID (passport, national ID or driver’s license) for the first police check.
• Accessible gate / 70+ years: Gate 9 (club-indicated family/accessible channel).
